“You’ll all be put to shame one after the other” – Akufo-Addo hits hard on critics

President Akufo-Addo has replied persons who claim he has done nothing in terms of development in the Ashanti Region.

According to the President, those people would soon be put to shame.

He said this while cutting sod for the construction of the Suame 4-tier interchange in Kumasi.

“And those who have been going round saying bad things about me in Kumasi would be shamed one after the other today, tomorrow and tomorrow`s next,” he stated.

Livid Akufo-Addo indicated those who claim he has neglected the stronghold of the NPP would be put to shame as more projects are underway in the region.

On Monday, October 17, 2022, as part of his 4-day tour in the Ashanti Region, some people turned their frustrations on the President’s convoy while on his way to inspect progress of work on the phase 2 of the Kejetia redevelopment project.

President Akufo-Addo revealed that the Ashanti region has since 2017 benefited from 295 kilometres of road projects as his government tackles road infrastructure in a holistic manner throughout the country.

“Aside this project, my government is tackling critical road projects in all parts of the country in a holistic manner, so that every part of the country shall have quality, all-weather roads.

“My government has completed asphalt overlay of 295km of roads since I assumed office in 2017,” he bragged.
