The National Film Authority has served a notice of the law that authorizes the organization to preview and group all audiovisual contents before they are aired on television.
This includes feature films, short films, TV series, selected TV programs, documentaries among others.
The announcement comes after Ghanaians call for some regulatory actions in the media space after two teenagers k!lled their 10-year-old friend for money rituals.
According to the suspects, a spiritualist they saw on television influenced them to murder their colleague for money rituals.
Ex-President John Agyekum Kuffour is also urging authorities to clasp on the activities of fraudulent traditional priests using the media to circulate get-rich-quick messages.
