You can drink all the sea, you’ll still lose – Ursula Owusu to NDC

The Minister of Communications and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has said that the ruling New Patriotic Party led by President Akufo-Addo will win the upcoming general election hands down.

According to her, the NPP government will win the December polls as they did in the 2016 general election because the ruling government has performed credibly well as compared to their rivals, the NDC.

Speaking on TV3’s ‘The Woman Factor’ on The New Day program monitored by, the Ablekuma West MP said  their opponent National Democratic Congress(NDC) can use all means but still they’ll be defeated in the impending elections. Mrs. Owusu said that the NDC led by former president John Dramani Mahama can drink all the water in the sea but they’ll still lose the elections.

She is confident that the people of Ghana will not vote the NDC into power depending on the good works Nana Addo and his government has embarked on for the past three and half years.

“With the interventions that the government has put in place, particularly, the Free Senior High School (SHS) has taken a huge burden off women.”

“We want mothers and single mothers to ensure that their children have an education. Now they can rest so long as they know their children are doing well in school. But there is still a lot more work to be done,” the Ablekuma West lawmaker said.
