Wontumi reported to police over recent comments about Mahama’s daughter

Ashanti Regional Secretary of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwame Zu has reported Bernard Antwi Boasiko aka Chairman Wontumi to the Ashanti Regional Police Command over recent comments about the daughter of former President John Dramani Mahama.

According to Kwame Zu, they have officially lodged a complaint with the police because such comments from the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP cannot be taken lightly.

“I have lodged a complaint with the Ashanti Regional Crime Office of the Police Command. His comments are treacherous and cannot be Politics as usual. It is difficult to understand what he meant by ‘Somebody would catch her and do something to her’. We are therefore demanding an establishment of his real intentions by the Police.

Chairman Wontumi recently sent a piece of advice to the presidential candidate of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama to make sure that his daughter Farida Mahama is not exposed to social media always.

According to Chairman Wontumi, Mr Mahama is exposing his daughter too much on social media because his wife Lordina Mahama has decided step back from politics.

He asked the former president to stop showing off his daughter and making her know to the whole world and it will expose her to many vices.

Chairman Wontumi speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi radio he said “so now what he does is that he posts his daughter indicating that she is now of age. Someone will catch her and do something to her for him to realize that if you have a daughter you will hide her”.
