Woman swims 24 hours non-stop in Lake Michigan for diabetes charity, a video has confirmed.

The woman,Marian Cardwell is known for swimming the English Channel swam in Lake Michigan for 24 hours.

The whole day of non-stop swimming helped raise money for the Chicago Diabetes Project.  Over  $10,000 was collected.

Marian Cardwell, who previously swam across the English Channel in 2012, said she had originally planned to swim across Lake Michigan from Chicago to Grand Haven, Mich., but her plans were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic
