Ghanaian boxers, Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers have descended heavily on rapper Sarkodie and veteran reggae/dancehall artiste, Samini for endorsing President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December polls.
Sarkodie recently revealed his support for President Akufo-Addo in an encrypted verse in his new single ‘Holiday’ featuring Kuami Eugene.
He noted that he doesn’t have a problem with the previous government because he scrutinizes every administration equally when things are bad but he feels like Nana deserves a second term.
“When Dumsor was eminent I talked about. The same was with inflation but if today I sleep comfortably in light and today my children will have the opportunity to school free then I apologize to you all but Nana Toa So” he said in twi.
Samini also applauded the president for his excellent management prowess when it comes to the handling of the Ghanaian economy in a new song.
In his new song, the high-grade CEO shed light on some achievements of the president and his government officials and called on Ghanaians to give Nana a second term in office.
It seems their endorsement for the NPP and Akufo-Addo didn’t go down well with pro-NDC celebrities Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers as they take them to the cleaner.
A video sighted by Adepanews.com captures the two hurling insults on the musicians for supporting the ruling government. In the video, Bukom Banku could be seen calling Sarkodie a fool, an animal, and even insulted his mother “wo maame tw3”. To him, Sarkodie should have known that Ghana is going backward under the administration of Akufo-Addo.
Ayitey Powers also took charge of Samini and hurled insults at him.
