Why Defeated NPP Aspirant Collected Bicycles He Shared.
They were reports of a disappointed member of parliament who had gone to retrieve the bicycle he had shared as gifts to the delegates.
The sadness or displeasure caused by the non-fulfillment of one’s hopes or expectations can really make one do the impossible.
An NPP Aspirant named Eric Amankwaah Blay has defied the odds.
Eric Amankwaah Blay who was an aspirant in the just-ended NPP parliamentary primaries at the Assin North Constituency has gone back for the bicycles he donated to delegates after encountering a humiliating defeat.
His reason was that they did not vote for him and don’t deserve to keep his bicycle.
He was heard saying;
I’m not taking back the money but as for the bicycles i need them back urgently and at all cost.
Mr Eric Amankwaah had only 44 votes as against the current MP Mrs. Abena Mensah Duruwaa who had 389 votes.
He also added that the bicycles were being taken back from the delegates because they were given out by his financiers who loaned the money used in buying the bicycles.
