Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and one of the champions of the anti-LGBTQI, Sam George has assured that the controversial anti-g@y bill will certainly be passed to law.
The bill when passed to law will make activities of lésbians and h0m0s³xuals illegal in Ghana. As part of the law enactment process, the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Parliament is holding a public hearing on it.
Whereas the bill has been welcomed by some Ghanaians especially religious leaders, it has also met opposition from others.
Speaking on the New Day show on TV3 Monday, February 21 with Johnnie Hughes, Sam George said “I am absolutely confident that the bill will be passed. We will pass to the glory of God and we will pass it to shame the devil.”
