In an emotionally charged atmosphere at a Kumasi court, tears were shed as Twumasi Ahmed, the accused killer cop, appeared before the court today. Family and friends of his late girlfriend, Maa Adwoa, were present at the court premises to witness the proceedings.
Twumasi Ahmed, who was reportedly picked up from his hideout after he allegedly shot Maa Adwoa, appeared composed and attentive during the proceedings.
He reportedly shot her five times after meeting up with her one fateful evening. The reason behind the heinous act is yet to be established.
According to details emerging from the court, Twumasi Ahmed, a married man, was in a romantic relationship with Maa Adwoa, his late girlfriend. Reports suggest that he shot her because she owed him an amount of GH¢5,000.
The court proceedings were attended by a large crowd, with many eager to hear the details of the case.
