A video circulating on social media captures moment gravely ill Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, Alexander Kojo-Kum was transported to Parliament in an ambulance to help pass the controversial electronic transaction levy.
The MP who doubles as Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has been sick for the past few weeks.
The video sighted suggested that the lawmaker has been compelled to appear in Parliament to enable the Majority Caucus to get the needed numbers to pass the much-hated e-levy.
The passing of E-levy has become difficult after the Minority Caucus vowed to kick against its implementation.
With the house almost equal in numbers on both sides, passage of the bill has become complicated since NPP MP for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo has refused to resume parliamentary duty since the beginning of the year and is also allegedly holding her party to ransom.
