Video of Atsu’s customized tomb

The late Black Stars Winger, Christian Atsu is being buried today, March 17, 2023.

The final funeral rite of the former Newcastle star was held at the forecourt of the State House.

President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahammudu Bawumia, former president John Dramani Mahama, Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials, former Black Stars players and other dignitaries joined the bereaved family of Atsu to mourn their relative.

Atsu was a victim of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023.
