The Management Board of University of Cape Coast (UCC) has dismissed claims that students on the school’s campus have been attacked by robbers which resulted in the death of some students.
There were reports earlier today that two students university of Cape Coast have been stabbed by unknown assailants during a robbery attack.
The incident was said to have occurred late night, Monday October 12, 2020 which caused the remaining students on campus to flee and panic.
But Major (Rtd) Kofi Baah Bentum speaking to TV3 in an interview said that the reports are false.
“In fact the one who put out the formation said it was a prank.
“He has succeeded in the mischief or the prank that he sought to do because almost everybody has believed it and not only believed it [but] people have added twists to it.
“They are talking about some being injured or some being killed.”
