Evangelist and Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Asamoah has been summoned to appear before the Ga Traditional Council for reportedly making some damning comments, the chiefs deem blasphemous.

It could be recalled that Diana Asamoah during Nana Agradaa’s escapades with the Police authorities stated on facebook that worshiping gods and celebrating traditional festivals like Homowo is a sin and must be stopped.

This comment drew some criticisms among Ga-Dangme youths and elders who in turn demanded their chiefs to punish the gospel musician for disrespecting their tradition and community.

“We the elders of the Ga land have registered our displeasure with the comment made by the gospel artist Diana Asamoah against the god’s of the land”. Elders of the Kwabenya Traditional Council in an audio available to DGN Online stated.

Well, reports reaching us have confirmed that the Ga Traditional Council on May 10th, 2021, have issued a summon to the gospel singer to appear them.
