Tragic news as Mohammed kudus sustain ‘critical’ hamstring injury

Ghanaian superstar and Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus will be out of action for two to three weeks following a hamstring injury sustained during the team’s Dutch Cup victory over Feyenoord. The 22-year-old was substituted during the match, which secured Ajax’s place in the competition finals.

Kudus will be sidelined for the upcoming league matches against Fortuna Sittard, FC Emmen, and PSV Eindhoven due to an injury. He might, however, be able to play again in time for the Cup final on April 30, 2023 against PSV Eindhoven.

The loss of Kudus will be a serious setback for Ajax as they attempt to retain their league championship this year. The team is currently in second place behind Feyenoord, who lead the table with an eight-point advantage.

Kudus has been a crucial player for Ajax this season, having scored 18 goals and provided five assists in all competitions.
