Thomas Partey ruled out of the Ghana squad due to a bizarre reason which many believe may be planning to stay away from the national team.
Partey sustained a thigh injury in Arsenal’s shock 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday night.
The injury is a serious one and Partey will not join Ghana camp for the home-and-away qualifiers against North Africans.

The Ex Atletico star is now set to undergo a scan to determine the seriousness of the injury and how long it could take him to return to action.
The National team on Thursday, November 12 in Cape Coast plays Sudan and play the North Africans Tuesday, November 17 in Khartoum.
Partey who plays a key role for the Black Stars with 10 goals in 30 appearances for Ghana may force the team to change a lot of plans as the team has targeted a win in the two games.
Mikel Arteta said “We have to scan him tomorrow or the day after and see what he felt straight away,” said the Arsenal manager. “Let’s wait and see what the magnitude of the injury is.”
In an old interview with Ghanafa.org, Thomas revealed he felt good and so happy to be here again with the Black Stars.
