The saying ‘God gives, God takes’ is a lie, Atsu wasn’t supposed to die – Majid Michel

Ghanaian actor cum Evangelist, Majid Michel has dismissed claims that God knows about the sudden demise of former Black Stars player Christian Atsu.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM monitored by Adepanews.com, the Evangelist of God said Ghanaians especially Christians should quit saying that ‘God gives and God takes’.

He stressed that the former Chelsea star was not supposed to die in the earthquake and Ghanaians should halt saying that God gives and takes because He does not take whatever He gives.

“I don’t believe in ‘you don’t know what will happen tomorrow, God gives and God takes.’ That is a lie,” he said. “It was Job that made that statement. That ‘God gives and God takes’ statement, Job said it out of anguish! It was Job’s words and now we have made it a doctrine. It false.”

“God doesn’t give and takes anything. It’s a lie. Atsu wasn’t supposed to die. It is a premature death, God didn’t take Atsu anywhere.’ Majid said.
