Ghana’s World Cup star Mohammed Kudus has been honoured with a commemorative gold medal for his performance at the FIFA World Cup.
It was given to him by Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the minister for Western Region.
On his World Cup debut, the 22-year-old Ajax player is shining brightly. So far, he has been Ghana’s best player, with three goal contributions in two games.
Kudus set up Ghana’s first goal in Qatar, a brilliant pass to Andre Ayew, who scored in the 3-2 loss to Portugal, and then he became the first Ghanaian to score a World Cup brace in Ghana’s second match against South Korea on Monday, inspiring Ghana to a 3-2 victory.
In honour of Kudus’ outstanding performance in Qatar, the MP of Takoradi presented to him a commemorative gold medal.
