Fast-rising Ghanaian comedian, Abdul Waris Umaru, popularly known as Comedian Waris says individuals who join the midnight online prayer session Alpha Hour should also take work serious.
The renowned comedian believes that prayers only do not change a person’s life.
According to him, people who join the Alpha Hour prayers led by Pastor Elvis Agyeman should take their work serious if they want to witness a change in their lives.
In a Twitter post, he wrote, “If you take work serious like u take alpha hour serious … your life will not be the same somebody👍👍👍👍”

Pastor Elvis Agyeman and Alpha Hour trended on social media a few weeks ago after a photo of some financial officers of the Alpha Hour clan busily counting heavy offertory which was collected in the course of one of their church services went viral.
As suggested by a majority of critics who came across the eye-catchy photo, the ultimate aim of alpha hour prayers is to make money from gullible people in the name of non-existent miracles, breakthroughs, promotions, Visa acquisition etc. because the man of God appears to be more of a businessman than a man of God.
