Five construction workers are in critical condition after a building they are working on collapsed on them.
The unfortunate incident happened at Ashongman Estate, a suburb of Accra.
According to report, the building collapsed on the workers after they dig a hole in one of the walls to allow the flow of water on top of the building caused by a heavy downpour of rain.
Unfortunately, the hole they drilled caused the building to collapse on them. They’re currently responding to treatment at Ga West government hospital.
Meanwhile, the building has been pulled down by NADMO authorities with the claim that the owner did not seek a permit before building the house.
