Controversial social media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has called on President Akufo-Addo to start taxing churches in Ghana.
Afia speaking in a self-recorded video, she said the President should tax churches just as he has boldly introduced the electronic transaction levy.
The mother of twins explained that government has refused to tax churches which is why pastors are always on social media throwing shots at each other.
The comedienne went on to say that the church is making money and as a member of Winners Chapel, her church makes a lot of money from books and CDs.
She explained that Winners Chapel makes money from selling books and CDs.
“It’s time for you to tax the churches. They need to pay taxes, they need to be responsible so that you can limit one-man-church and the foolishness,” she said.
