Self-acclaimed dancehall king in Ghana, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr widely known as Shatta Wale has reacted to the sudden demise of former Black Stars winger Christian Atsu.
Shatta Wale in a self-recorded video prayed for the former Chelsea star and asked God to keep his soul.
The controversial dancehall singer opened up on why he has not stormed the studio to record a tribute song for him like how he composed a song for the late Adam Mahama who was lynched to death some years ago.
According to him, the death of Christian Atsu has touched his heart so much making it hard for him to record a song for him.
Atsu, a former Newcastle United and Chelsea winger, passed away in an earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6. His body was recovered from the rubble of his destroyed apartment a week later.
Atsu, who was crowned best player at the 2015 AFCON, was only 31 years old. His family has not yet announced any plans for his burial and funeral.
