Ashanti Regional Organizer of the NPP, Francis Adomako also added that vehicle carrying the NPP Loyal Ladies was not part of the official convoy of the second lady but they were present to support her campaign tour of the region.
According to him, when they arrived at Anua Nkwanta, all other vehicles were made to halt for the second lady’s official convoy to pass, and after they had passed, the Catholic Priest decided to get back to the road, not knowing that the Urvan carrying the loyal ladies was rushing to join the convoy, and it runs into the priest’s pick up.
He substantiated that the injured were hospitalized at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, revealing that two (2) have been discharged and six (6) are responding to treatment.
Mr. Amoako seized the opportunity and urged the police MTTD to deploy more officers to ensure law and order both on the road and in the street.
