Sadio Mane Recovers From Covid-19 Returns To Training with the team.
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has recovered from coronavirus ahead of Saturday’s Merseyside derby against Everton.
The 28-year-old tested negative for the virus, 10 days after he went into self-isolation to treat himself.
Senegal national team coach Aliou Cisse also had to exclude the 28-year-old from his squad to face Morocco in an international friendly and his presence was felt as Senegal went on to lose 3-1 away in Rabat against a rampant Morocco side.
Some few days ago, Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for coronavirus
The Juventus forward is “doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation”,
Thiago Alcantara and Cameroonian international Joel Matip also returned to training after fully recovering from knocks as well.
Liverpool lost 7-2 to Aston Villa in their last league game away at Villa Park and Mane’s presence was clearly missed with Mohammed Salah having to carry the team on his own scoring a brace on the day, but it was not enough to avoid the drubbing by coach Dean Smith’s men.
