Richie speaks on Kuami Eugene's court case

Richie speaks on Kuami Eugene’s court case during an interview on Joy FM.

Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment, Richard Mensah popularly known as Richie, denied all the allegations of song theft against his artist.

Instead he said the Nigerian singer has no grounds to sue them because Kuami Eugene released their song before they did.

This comes after a Nigerian singer allegedly sued Kuami Eugene for illegally copying parts his song to create “show body” without his permission.

Oduma Essan, in his suit, demanged Kuami Eugene and his label pay him Ghc 120,000 in damages for costs including video production, sound engineering, mixing, and promotion of the song in both Ghana and Nigeria.

Both songs were titled show body and Essan strongly believes Kuami Eugene stole his content.

Richie also advised the media not to discourage the Angela hitmaker, Kuami Eugene, by complaining of song theft anytime he releases a song.
