Rastafarians declare their support for Akufo-Addo (Watch)

A group of Rastafarians in the Ashanti Region has announced their support for President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the upcoming general elections.

According to the group, President Akufo-Addo and his NPP government have done what Napoleon couldn’t do. They are endorsing the ruling government because their achievements especially on social intervention cannot be compared to any government.

A section of the Rastafarians who were interviewed on Wontumi TV said that Akufo-Addo’s government with its intervention such as Free Senior High School (SHS), 1V1D, planting for foods and jobs, nurses and teachers allowances restored have lessened societal pressures and can’t be ignored.

The achievements of past governments can’t be compared to the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Therefore they have thrown their full support to the current government for reelection.

They noted that the era of a rampant intermittent power cut, well known as dumsor which collapsed many businesses under the former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC is no more and if they are enjoying a stable supply of power and also have had their family go through free SHS, they have no choice than to support the Akufo-Addo administration for more years of governance.
