A soul tie can let a person influence or manipulate another without the other person knowing. The majority of Ghanaians trusted Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to change Ghana in terms of transforming Ghana to meet the western world standard as Nana Addo promised.

Visiting the statement of Nana Addo as when he was a presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, made a promise to turn the fortunes of Ghana approximately 18 months after voting into office. Adding to eliminate the backward and move the country into progress. Promising to be taken care of all in changing the circumstance of citizens.

With such promises, Ghanaians trusted and voted Nana Addo into power to lead the nation as president in which he followed through most of his promises by giving every Ghanaians to benefit from Free senior high school education including free food and free boarding school accommodation.

In December 2020, Ghanaians voted again for him to lead the country for a second term as giving him credit for fulfilling his promise.

As Covid 19 has left the national economy and businesses counting the cost, including the government struggles with covid lockdown in order to tackle the spread of the virus, those that their businesses are affected are losing hope in Nana Addo in terms of business recovery.

For such cost, Prophet Kumchacha who is popularly known in Ghana as a comedian pastor has stated that Nana Addo is spiritually tied making it difficult to deliver the promises made. When asked to untie him, Kumchacha stated, it will be difficult to untie the president unless the president avails himself for him to deliver him from such bondage.
