Policewoman k!lled by speeding vehicle at Potsin

Sad news reaching our front desk has it that a 29-year-old policewoman has been k!lled by a speeding vehicle at Potsin Junction on the Kasoa-Cape-Coast highway.

According to reports, the deceased identified as PW Constable Febiri met her untimely demise after the speeding vehicle ran over her at a Police snap checkpoint at Potsin junction.

The Ghana Police Service is yet to reveal an official statement.

In other news, a piece of unfortunate news gathered by our outfit has that a fire that broke out on February 1, 2020 in Effiekuma, a suburb in the Effia-Kwesmintsim Municipality of Western region k!lled four family members.

According to reports, the fire engulfed the family’s home around 3:00am k!lling all the four 3:00 ams.

The cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be determined.

Getting in touch with the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) during the early stages of the fire was difficult, according to an eyewitness, but by the time they came, neighbors had already saved one of the victims, a 64-year-old male.

According to accounts, the mother, who is also the rescued man’s wife, is 60 years old, the daughter is 38 years old, and the granddaughter is 6 years old.
