Police arrest boy who st@bbed his mother with knife for money rituals earlier this morning.

In a chilling report received by Adepanews.com, a young man who without any sign of mental illness or being possessed stabbed his mother severely this morning.

It is believed that he had wanted to use her for money rituals.

The incident which happened in Owerri, Nigeria has become one of the many crimes among the youth.

The report further added that the young man had invited the mother, Eziada Chika Mbachu who a parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish but later carried out the heinous crime.

An eyewitness narrated “The mother was shouting and calling for help with blood stains and wounds on her body. The neighbours heard of it and started rushing to help her. They rescued her. When the son saw many people coming he stopped attacking the mother.

“It was that time that the mother fell and started crying and the neighbours rescued her and separated her from the son.

“As I am talking to you the woman has been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, hospital for treatment so that treatment can commence on her immediately because of the knife cuts. The police have arrested the boy and taken him to the station.”

Similarly, a piece of unfortunate news gathered by our outfit has it that a female police officer with the Paga unit at Bawku in the Upper East Region has been sh0t to de@th.

The police confirming the sad incident said the deceased, Constable Regina Angenu on Saturday, January 22 around 5:05 pm visited her colleague Constable Erasmus Enkson at the Bawku Division of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) of the Ghana Police Service.

“On their way to Const. Enkson’s barracks, they were attacked by unknown assailants and the police woman was shot in the groin.”

She was sent to Presbyterian Mission Hospital for medical treatment but passed away.

The body has been sent to Bolgatanga Regional Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
