Police arrest 16 fake passengers

Malawi Police has arrested sixteen fake passengers at Lilongwe Bus Terminal.

The fake passengers arrested include twelve men and four women.

They were nabbed by the police for causing a breach of peace which contravenes section 181 of the Penal Code.

The fake passengers are often paid by drivers to board a bus in order to trick travelers into believing that the bus is close to being full.

 

In other news, Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart has asked his mother not to waste time thinking or worrying about him

The Onua TV/FM morning show host speaking on ‘Onua Maakye’ show told his mother not to cry whenever she hears that he has been arrested because she only gave birth to him and he’s not for him but for Ghana.

The Onua TV presenter together with his work colleague GH Bwoy was arrested and detained a couple of days ago for allegedly extorting monies from a businessman.

His arrest sparked uproar on social media especially when his outfit couldn’t locate him after they had left him in the custody of the National security a day before.

According to Captain Smart, his mother wept bitterly when she heard that his only son has been arrested and detained.

The renowned journalist speaking on Onua TV earlier today boldly told his mother that he’s not for him but Ghana and he will keep exposing the bad and shady deals the government and its officials.
