Please don’t accept the calculator from the ‘enemy’ today – Citi TV journalist Umaru Sanda advises General Mosquito

Ghanaian journalist, Umaru Sanda Amadu has sent a piece of advice to the General Secretary of opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia in the Election Petition.

According to the Citi Tv journalist, General Mosquito as affectionately called by some party folks should not accept a calculator from his ‘enemy’ in the courtroom today.

Recall that the NDC scribe mounted the witness box as the first witness for the petitioner in the 2020 Election Petition, John Dramani Mahama last week and was cross-examined by the Lawyer for the 1st Respondent, (Electoral Commission), Justin Amenuvor.

Asiedu Nketiah was compelled to make use of a calculator at a point in time as he was not sure of the figures being put to him by the EC Lawyer.

With so much feverishness and apprehension written all over his face, Aseidu Nketiah punched the calculator with so much energy; not allowing any number to allude him.

Sweats were all over his brow but his attention and eyes were fixated on the calculator and a piece of paper he was referencing these numbers from.

He also lost his voice at a point in time as spoke undertone to the surprise of many Ghanaians who have been following the Election Petition.

As result, Umaru Sanda has taken to social media to advise Mr. Nketia. In a Facebook post, he wrote:

Dear General Mosquito,
When you go to the Court today, don’t accept the calculator from the “enemy”. This is a simple rule to WASSCE Candidates.

I remember my mate Alimemu telling me that there is a way the calculator can be configured so that it will produce the same results regardless of the input. I’m just saying ooo
