A massive protest is ongoing in Saint Petersburg in Russia against Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
President of Russia, Vladimir on Thursday, February 24, 2022 announced that Russia has invaded Ukraine and begun missile strikes against Ukraine.
After the first day of attack, Ukraine’s President Volkdymr Zelensky disclosed that 137 persons have d!ed.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine has been “left alone” to fight Russia. “If you don’t help us today, war will knock on your door tomorrow,” he said in an appeal to world leaders today.
People across the globe are not happy about the invasion and have called on Russia to seize fire.
Following this, people in Russia have hit the street to protest against Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
In other news, some Ghanaian students studying in Ukraine are still calling on the government to support them as Russia keeps evading Ukraine every day.
In the early hours of Thursday, Russian President, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia has invaded and begun missile strikes against Ukraine.
Dozens of soldiers and citizens have been wounded and hurt in the attack. Other properties have been destroyed.
Some Ghanaian students who are studying in Ukraine have been left stranded and calling on the government to assist them.
The National Union of Ghana Students(NUGS) has also called on the government to take urgent steps and evacuate students from Ukraine and Russia.
