Member of Parliament(MP) for Assin Central on the ticket of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has advised the Ghanaian youth to desist from violent activities in the country.

The outspoken politician speaking on Net2 TV emphasized that Ghana is a peaceful country and there’s the need for us to maintain the peace that we have.

The lawmaker who doubles as a business mogul slammedd some leading members of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) who have decided to torment the peace we’re enjoying in the country.

According to him, there are NDC members who are behind the recent violent activities that occurred at Ejura in the Ashanti Region following the de@th of social activist and #fixthecountry campaigner, Ibrahim Kaaka which led to the demise of other two persons. He alleged that some members of NDC stormed Ejura to instigate the youth to demonstrate.

Mr. Agyapong asserted that he’ll continue to create awareness for the world especially Ghanaian to know that peace is more important than war.
