Odorkor Police officer k!lls pedestrian while chasing driver who had flouted traffic rules.

The police officer, who was driving a Taxi with the plate number GX-1651-21, was allegedly pursuing a driver who had broken traffic laws.

According to reports, the event occurred near Atiko Junction in the Greater Accra Region, near Odorkor after a police officer allegedly crushed three people, one person is believed to be dead and two others are fighting for their lives.

ASP Kingsley Kanda, the Odorkor Commander of the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD), verified the incident and said the suspect is presently on the run pending investigations.

The injured persons were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Court remands 2 teenagers who allegedly k!lled RCCG Pastor in Lagos, Nigeria.

Two young guys have been remanded in custody by a magistrate court in Yaba for the suspected murder of Babatunde Dada, a Lagos-based pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Farouq Muhammed, 16, and Jamiu Kasali, 19, were remanded in custody for 30 days by the court.

On January 12, 2022, the suspects were remanded in the Special Correctional Centres for Boys Oregun and Ikoyi Prisons, respectively.
