Nigerian protesters break into prison and free inmates [Video] during the #ENDSARS.
The ongoing #EndSARS in Nigeria, Benin City has gone awry as alleged hoodlums have broken into the Benin Correctional Centre and freed some inmates in one of the cells.#ENDSARS :Nigerian government dissolves SARS
The prison break happened at Sapele Road in Benin City, the Edo State capital, today, Monday, October 19th and has compelled the Edo State Government to impose a curfew in the ancient city to address.
The hoodlums started gathering along Sapele Road beside the prison as early as 7:00 a.m. setting bonfires and turning back road users.

They attacked the prison when more people joined the gathering. They broke a part of the wall while some climbed the fence into the prison yard.

The security situation in Nigeria looks very fragile hence the earlier those in places of authority put their best foot forward to restore peace and calm, the better will it be for the citizens.
