Nana Konadu withdraws from 2020 elections barely 2 weeks to the D day.

Adepanews.com has come across an unconfirmed report that suggests the ex-wife of the former president Rawlings may have withdrawn from contesting in the 2020 presidential elections.

This comes after the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) said earlier that their founder late former President Jerry John Rawlings won’t be laid to rest until the party regains power.

It is rumored that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, last-minute consideration is linked to the demise of Konadu’s husband, ex-President Jerry John Rawlings who passed away two weeks ago.

The party is scheduled to address a press conference later today.

In other news, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, who is Ashanti Regional Chairman of New Patriotic Party has sent a piece of advice to Dr. Zenator Rawlings and the family of late former President Jerry John Rawlings.

According to Chairman Wontumi, as popularly known, the National Democratic Congress(NDC) is part of the legacies left behind by the late first President of the 4th Republic of Ghana. He urged the family to come together and protect their father’s property from Mahama.
