The Covid-19 vaccination is currently ongoing after President Akufo-Addo, Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, First and Second Ladies took the first jab of the vaccine on Monday, February 01, 2021 at the 37 Military Hospital.
Former President John Mahama, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and other high-profile citizens have publicly received the first dose of the 600,000 COVID-19 vaccines that have arrived in the country.
Ghanaian actress and TV host, Nana Ama Mcbrown has also joined the list of celebrities who have taken the jab of the vaccine. The actress got vaccinated today at Ghana International Press Centre.
After the vaccination, a couple of journalists approached her to take pictures and interview her on the process and in the course of the consultation one of the journalists asked Mcbrown if she has heard about the notion that the covid-19 vaccine is 666.
Mcbrown answering the question in Twi said she doesn’t know anything about that and netizens believe Mcbrown gave a perfect answer. Others blasted the journalist for asking her that question because she’s not the one to detect if the vaccine is 666 as people claim. She further encouraged Ghanaians to get vaccinated.
Meanwhile, plans are underway to distribute the AstraZeneca vaccines in the country’s coronavirus epicenters namely; Greater Accra, Western and Ashanti Regions.
A list of areas in Greater Accra designated for the COVID-19 vaccination has also been released by the Regional Directorate of the Ghana Health Service.
