My diss song was not for Daddy Lumba — Great Ampong makes quick U-turn

Veteran gospel singer, Great Ampong says his viral diss song dubbed ‘Onyame Akatua’ is not for legendary Daddy Lumba.

Not long ago, Great Ampong made it clear in an interview on Happy FM that his ‘Onyame Akatua’ song is a reply to Daddy Lumba’s ‘Ofon na di asem’ don’t diss song.

According to Ampong, a person from Lumba’s camp disclosed to him that the highlife singer has recorded a diss track for him.

So he wasn’t surprised when the song was released and the lyrics in it were direct shots at him.

Speaking in an interview on Power FM Great Ampong ate back his words and claimed that his ‘Onyame Akatua’ isn’t a diss song for Daddy Lumba contrary to what he said on Happy FM.

It’s clear that an influential person has advised Great Amping to quash his beef with Daddy Lumba because it won’t be worth it in the long run.

Meanwhile, Great Ampong claims that the real diss song is yet to be released and not the freshly dropped one dubbed ‘Onyame Akatua’.
