MPs captured praying fervently ahead of the introduction of Private Members’ Bill to criminalize LGBTQI+ in Ghana (WATCH)

A section of Ghanaian lawmakers were earlier today captured holding fervent prayers ahead of the introduction of a Private Members’ Bill to criminalize Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Queer Inters*x practices in Ghana.

In the video sighted by our outfit, Members of Parliament (MPs) who present were Samuel Nartey George, Ningo-Prampram MP; Emmanuel Bedzrah, Ho West MP; Della Adjoa Sowah, Kpando MP; John Ntim Fordjour, Assin South MP and Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, Tamale North MP.

The rest were Helen Adjoa Ntoso, Krachi West MP; Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, La Dadekotopon MP and Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor, South Dayi, MP.

The legalisation of LGBTQI+ in Ghana became a major issues a couple of months ago after the group managed to open their office in Ghana.
