Mobile Money Agents’ Association of Ghana has rescinded its sit-down strike which is scheduled for today Thursday, December 23.
According to a statement released by the association, the Ministry of Communication and the National Communication Authority have accepted their proposal and will look further into it and deliberate.
The Association also cited the recess of Parliament and a possible hostility from the police as the main reason for their decision.
The General Secretary of MMAAG, Evans Otumfuo declared to GHOne business that the ministry of communication and national communication authority sent a delegation to discuss their grievances with them.
He added that their discussion will be used to inform the kind of arrangement the government will make concerning the welfare of the association members and their businesses.
