Family makes shocking revelation about rescued Takoradi pregnant woman

The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko-Mensah has revealed that the woman who was kidnapped in Takoradi but found was not pregnant.

According to the minister who doubles as a lawmaker for the Takoradi constituency, medical reports available to the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) have it that the 28-year-old Josephine Payin Mensah was not pregnant.

“From the BNI’s preliminary investigations they said this whole story was fake and the medical doctor who took care of her said she wasn’t pregnant,” he told Kessben TV.

Josephine Panyin Mensah went missing on Thursday, September 16 after going for a dawn walk in Takoradi.

Following a report made to the police by her husband, Michael Simmons, the police immediately began a search for her.

It was later revealed that an unknown person had called the family and demanded a ransom.
