Ghanaian rapper, Medikal, has shared a video of himself pounding fufu on Sunday afternoon, seemingly unbothered by an encounter with Shatta Michy, the ex-girlfriend of his friend and colleague musician, Shatta Wale.
The video comes in the wake of an incident at Zylofon TV premises where Shatta Michy had a confrontation with Medikal over a misquote in an interview he made concerning Shatta Wale paying school fees for a year.
According to reports, Michy mistook Medikal’s comments and believed he said Shatta Wale had paid for their son’s school fees for a year, which was not the case. She proceeded to confront Medikal and film the encounter with her phone.
Despite the incident, Medikal appeared unfazed as he shared a video of himself pounding fufu, a popular Ghanaian dish made from cassava and plantain, on his social media pages.
It seems the rapper is choosing to focus on the simple pleasures of life and not let the drama affect him. The video has garnered positive reactions from fans and followers, who have praised the rapper for his down-to-earth nature.
Medikal, known for hits such as “Omo Ada” and “La Hustle”, is set to release new music in the coming weeks. In the meantime, he appears to be enjoying some downtime and taking life one fufu-pounding session at a time.
