Medikal pleads guilty for displaying gun in public; fined GH¢3,600

Accra Circuit Court 2 has fined rapper Medikal GH¢3,600 after he pleaded guilty to charges against him for displaying arms and ammunition in public.

Medikal was sentenced to 300 penalty units, i.e GH¢3,600 or serve a nine-month prison term in default of the payment.

The sentence follows after the rapper told the court that he wanted to change his plea from “not guilty” to guilty.

Medikal is standing trial for displaying arms and ammunition on September 26, 2021, few hours after he had shown up in Court in support of colleague singer, Shatta Wale over a hoax shooting incident.

In other news, lawmaker for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has once again descended heavily on his fellow party member Sarah Adwoa Safo for refusing to show up for business in Parliament.

The member of parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency is currently on leave and it has become a problem for the New Patriotic Party in the House.

Adwoa Safo has failed to show up in Parliament and this has become a problem for the NPP.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, his Baby Mama has failed in life if she intends to sabotage the NPP and he won’t cover it up because he has two children with her.

Mr. Agyapong speaking in an interview revealed that his colleague is making demands on the party and President before showing up in Parliament for business. He wants to be made the Deputy Majority Leader in the House.

Kennedy Agyapong condemned her attitude adding that it will cost her Dome Kwabenya seat because that constituency is not for her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo.
