Founder and General Overseer of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Prophet Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwa Yiadom widely known as Prophet 1 has composed a song expressing his displeasure following the introduction of the tax on all electronic transactions.

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta reading the 2022 budget statement and the fiscal policy outlined certain new policies the government will implement in 2022 which include an introduction of tax on all electronic transactions.

According to him, Ghanaians will pay 1.75% tax on electronic financial transactions. This new resolve was not well received by Ghanaians as a lot of them have expressed their disappointment in the ruling government led by President Akufo Addo.

Renowned gospel preacher, Opambour has also expressed similar feelings as he composed a song to kick against the decision of government.

Prophet 1 condemned the policy that Ghanaians, particularly the elderly in the villages should pay tax on the monies sent to them by their relatives.

He pleaded with the government to rescind the decision because Ghanaians are already dealing with hardships.

In a video sighted online, the respected man of God and his junior pastors could be seen dancing hard while he sings the song he has composed against e-levy.
