Martin Amidu exposes Akufo-Addo, releases a 27-page letter on Agyapa deal after his resignation.

Former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu has still maintained his stand on exposing the rot in the Akufo Addo government.

Mr. Martin Amidu, in his resignation letter, revealed that his office was not apportioned the necessary autonomy by the presidency he required to exorcise corruption which is embedded in the country.

Well in a new release, the former Special Prosecutor has released a statement which seeks to elaborate on the Agyapa Royalties report.

Shortly after his resignation, Mr. Amidu directed his accountant on Monday November 17, 2020, to return the money paid to him, amounting to GH¢12,696 indicating the total amount of money between December 2018 and May 2020.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM’s Umaru Sanda Amadu, Mr Amidu also questioned why there are so many attacks against him from some people in government following his release of the report.

“The fact that you are in government doesn’t mean that when you are dissatisfied about a report, you go after the person or the fellow”, he said
