Main reason why UTV stopped airing ‘McBrown’s Kitchen’ show revealed

Ghanaian actress and TV show host, Nana Ama McBrown is still making waves on the internet after reports went viral that UTV has stopped airing her ‘McBrown’s Kitchen’ show. It was alleged that the show was taken off air following her media institution switch.

Speaking in an interview on TV3, the renowned actress confirmed the rumor that UTV, a subsidiary of the Despite Media Group has stopped airing her show.

According to the screen goddess, ‘Mcbrown’s Kitchen’ is her own production hence she pays UTV for it to be aired. She claimed to have contacted the management as to why they no longer televised her show but she’s yet to receive a reply from them.

Information gathered has it that McBrown had no contract with UTV concerning her show.  Reports have it that McBrown never paid for her show with her own money due to the advertisement on her show. It’s from the money sponsors pay for adverts that they split into halves, which is deemed a win for both parties.

An insider has revealed that UTV stopped airing McBrown’s Kitchen because they had run out of episodes and did not want to repeat old ones.
