Mahama mimicks Akufo-Addo’s speech (Watch)

Former President and flag bearer of  opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama says President Akufo-Addo during his campaign tours before the 2016 general elections asked Ghanaians to vote for him claiming that Ghana is blessed with mineral wealth yet the citizens are poor and suffering.

According to the former President, the New Patriotic Party presidential candidate has failed to fulfill the mouth-watering promises he made during the 2016 elections.

The NDC presidential aspirant addressing the  people gathered duringone of his campaign tours ask them to remind themselves during the 2016 electioneering process how NPP succeeded in tagging the NDC government negatively to both the ordinary voter and NDC members.

The NPP succeeded in making Ghanaians believe that indeed Ghana was on the verge of collapsing under John Mahama and the NDC. That the government was corrupt, incompetent, and insensitive to the plights of Ghanaians.

Mr.Mahama mimicking Akufo-Addo’s speech said; “y3 ti sika so nno3kum di y3n” which translated into English means “we are sitting on money yet we are hungry” and that should we vote for him he would literally “conjure” money from within the country for Ghana’s development.

“But the president didn’t realize that it is not slang we use to govern a country, it is hard work, truth, and honesty, ” he noted.

In the late political campaign rally in 2016, Nana Akufo-Addo bemoaned how everyone in the country was suffering including doctors, teachers, and drivers. So he promised to make Ghana a better place when he comes into power.
