Kwesi Pratt and John Agyekum Kufour clash over the 2020 election result barely 24 hours after the declaration.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared the winner of the 2020 polls by the Electoral Commission boss Madam Jean Mensa on 9th December 2020 after polling a total of 6,730,413 representing 51.595% of valid votes cast.
But Kwesi Pratt Jnr, a Ghanaian journalist and the managing editor at the Insight newspaper has opposed these figures.
Earlier this morning, Kwesi Pratt Jnr during an interview on Pan African TV, sad the figures did not make sense.
“These results cannot stand, and they should not be allowed to stand. It does not make sense. We must validate the results of this election and if we do not do that, we must say Goodbye to Democracy”, he was heard saying.
Meanwhile, the former President and NPP founder John Agyekum Kufuor has congratulated President Nana Akufo-Addo after he was declared the winner.
The former President wrote: “CONGRATULATIONS to the President Elect @NAkufoAddo you deserve it.”

John Agyekum Kufuor’s congratulatory message was based on the results released by the Electoral Commission boss Madam Jean Mensa on 9th December 2020 which Kwesi Pratt says do not make sense.
Does Kwesi Pratt mean the EC and John Agyekum Kufuor don’t have enough “sense” to realize the “the election figures do not make sense”
Well, I’m just a blogger and would leave it to the reader to decide.
You can have a look at the full interview below.
