Ghana and Inter Milan’s midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has donated over GH¢100000 to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi to help fight the deadly coronavirus disease effectively at the hospital

He joins some of the country’s big men who continue to contribute their quota in the battle against the disease

The Italian based player’s donation will go into the COVID-19 fund established by the government to complement the fight against the deadly virus.

That means the money will go towards protective equipment for doctors, paying for those in isolation and providing food and support for the elderly and homeless.

Ghana has recorded 636 total confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 17 people totally cured of the virus and eight(8) persons loosing their lives to the disease
