Kenyan woman who dumped her husband to marry ‘Holy Spirit’ found de@d

A Kenyan woman, Elizabeth Nalem who ditched her husband to marry the ‘Holy Spirit’ late last year has been found de@d.

According to reports, the body of the deceased was found in a forest on Saturday after she left home a week ago with a panga and a walking stick to the forest.

The Kenya Police is currently investigating whether she was attacked by wild animals in the forest.

Last year, Nalem left her matrimonial home and ‘wedded the holy spirit”’ in a bizarre ceremony.

According to the woman’s husband Joshua Nalem, Elizabath left their home to a nearby shopping centre only to be alerted by locals that the woman was ‘”wedding the holy spirit’”.

“One of our neighbours called me, saying that she had seen my wife in a wedding gown and on my arrival, I found her exchanging vows with an unseen groom,” he said.

He said they have been living happily and had not engaged in any quarrel that could have forced her to change her mind about their marriage.

“I don’t know what is disturbing my wife. We are married and blessed with six children. I have fully paid her bride price. I paid 22 cows,” he said.
