Kelvin Taylor pays Gabby Okyere-Darko $1Million Instead Of GH¢ 1Million

US-based Controversial journalist, Kelvin Ekow Taylor has reportedly overpaid the GH¢ 1 Million fine he owed NPP mogul Gabby Okyere-Darko.

On Tuesday, 27th October 2020 Gabby Okyere-Darko, a Senior Partner of Africa Legal Associates (ALA) law firm won his defamation suit against Kelvin Taylor.

The Accra High Court (Commercial Court 10), instructed Kelvin Taylor was to pay an amount of ¢1 Million for damages caused by his wild accusations.

Kelvin Taylor was slapped with the fine after he made an allegation against the aggrieved party concerning the termination of the Power Distribution Service (PDS) deal.

He conveys his defamatory statement on his online show, ”With All Due Respect”. There he alleged that Gabby Okyere-Darko had financially benefited from the PDS undertaking.

Mr. Okyere-Darko then sued Kelvin Taylor in October 2019 for such allegation smashed against him.

Just after the ruling of the Accra High Court, Kelvin Taylor has announced he has paid the monies to Mr. Gabby Okyere-Darko.

In a document released by Kelvin Taylor, he paid $1Million instead of the ¢1 Million.

In his post on his social media handle, he jabbed by saying that he added something small to the money he was supposed to pay.
